Admission Process


Shrimati Sitabai Ranguji Shinde, Mahavidhyalaya has come up with a uniquely designed hassle free admission process to help students in applying for admission. Taking into account the large queues of students wanting to apply for admission at SSRS, College, we have provisioned the form filling process online. This process is for students who wish to secure admission for any course and class at SSRS.

Please follow the following steps for admission process

  • Step 1:
    Student has to initially fill the application for merit cum admission form online.
  • Step 2:
    Student will essentially need to take a print out of the bank challan for the prospectus fee. The prospectus fee will need to be deposited in the bank on or before the due date appearing on the prospectus fee challan. The Prospectus Fee is strictly non-refundable.
  • Step 3:
    Student will submit a copy of the merit cum admission form, passing mark sheet and other required documents at the institute. This needs to be done before the stipulated date for admissions.
    * Please ensure to submit all necessary documents for caste proof, physical handicap proof, etc at this time. Incomplete forms without necessary documents will not be accepted.
  • Step 4:
    After the due date for admissions, the institute will generate a merit list. students who have secured Merit at SSRS will be intimated about the same through SMS on their Registered Mobile No. The SMS will Contain information of course details for which he/she has secured Merit along with the merit no.
  • Step 5:
    After receiving the merit list SMS, all eligible students has to come to college, after verification of Merit List SMS, College Authorities will give print out of Admission Form & Admission Fee Challan to student. The Admission Fee has to be deposited to bank on or before the due date appearing on the Admission Fee Challan.
  • Step 6:
    After Depositing the Admission Fee to Bank, student has to submit the copy of receipt to the college, after verification of the receipt; the college authorities will allot Roll No. Division & Subject Group along with receipt of the admission fees & Identity Card to student.

Important Remarks:

  1. Students will need to submit all requisite documents, certificates else their application forms will not be accepted
  2. Duplicate receipts will not be issued if students lose their original receipts
  3. At least 8 photocopies of school leaving certificate and mark sheets should be attested before taking admission in the college.
  4. The process of cancelling admission will be according to government and university rules.

Documents Required:

FY - B.A / B.Com/ B.Sc

  1. HSC marklist - Original and one attested photocopy
  2. School/College Leaving Certificate - Original and one attested photocopy
  3. Transference certificate / migration certificate - Original and one attested photocopy
  4. Caste Certificate for Category Students e.g. SC/ST/OBC/VJ-NTA,B,C&D,OBC & SBC
    * After admission, each student has to undergo a medical checkup in the first year. Otherwise, they are not allowed to appear for the university exam.
    * Admission will be granted on the basis of government rules and regulations

SY, TY - B.A / B.Com/ B.Sc

  1. Earlier passed examination marklist - Original and one attested photocopy
    * Other college students who are eager to take admission should attach original and one attested photocopy of school/college leaving certificate, bonafide certificate, transference certificate / migration certificate alongwith the marklist.

Post Graduation

  1. Earlier passed examination marklist - Original and one attested photocopy
    * Other college students who are eager to take admission should attach original and one attested photocopy of school/college leaving certificate, bonafide certificate, transference certificate / migration certificate alongwith the marklist.
